Access control systems consist of a network of card readers or keypads that are connected to a central unit. Users are given an access card or keyfob that will allow or restrict access to a given door or area depending on time of day and security clearance. Operation is simple : the card or keyfob is held within a few inches of the reader and the door is unlocked.
Keycards are ideal for being stored in a purse or wallet, and can double as an identification tag for a business. Keyfobs are ideal for carrying on a keychain. Keyfobs are also available with push buttons for controlling garage doors. To learn more, click on "Specifications".
