The price of a camera is generally determined by it's picture quality or resolution. Standard analog video cameras have a resolution of between 330 and 540 lines. A resolution of 480 or better is considered "high resolution". A camera with less than 480 lines is considered "standard resolution". Standard analog video cameras are slowly being replaced by the new generation of Megapixel IP cameras which offer a much higher resolution (1024 lines). Click on any camera below to learn more.
