Accessibility Plans

Conduct an Accessibility Audit: Accessibility audit of your website and other digital platforms.

Policy: Our policy statement that outlines our commitment to accessibility and how we plan to achieve and maintain compliance with CRTC regulations.

Accessibility Team: We have established a team of individuals within our organization who are responsible for ensuring compliance with CRTC regulations and WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines. This team includes representatives from different departments, such as marketing, development, and customer service.

Staff Training: We provide training to all employees on accessibility standards and the importance of ensuring that all customers have equal access to products and services. This includes training on how to create accessible content, such as alt text for images and closed captions for videos.

Accessibility Features: We have implemented accessibility features on our website and other digital platforms. These features include:

Alternative text for images
Closed captions for videos
Audio descriptions for videos
Keyboard-only navigation
Clear and easy-to-read fonts
High contrast options for users with low vision
Text-to-speech functionality
User Testing: Conduct user testing with individuals with disabilities to ensure that your website and digital platforms are accessible and easy to use. This feedback can help identify any barriers that were not identified during the accessibility audit.

Ongoing Monitoring: We monitor our website and digital platforms regularly to ensure that they continue to comply with accessibility standards and that new content is accessible.
