Mircom TX3 remote programming guide

Step 1 : Visit our support page at www.bulletsecurity.ca/support

Step 2 : Scroll to Mircom section and download latest version of TX3 Configurator, then run it.

Step 3 : Run the TX3 configurator – If SmartScreen blocks the download, then click More Info

Step 4 : Click Run Anyway

Step 5 : Run the installer

Step 6 : Click Yes

Step 7 : Click Next

Step 8 : Click Accept

Step 9 : Click Finish

Step 10 : Click OK and leave password blank

Step 11 : Create a new job

Step 12: Give the job a name, select “Basic Telephone Access System (1 lobby unit)” and then OK

Step 13 : Click Network, then select the connection type “TCP/IP”

Step 14 : Click Panel1(Lobby)

Step 15 : Select correct Panel Type (typically either TX3-120/200-4 or TX3-200-8)

Step 16 : Enter the IP address provided to you by your Bullet Security Installer

Step 17 : (Optional) – Test Connection

Step 18 : Click Connect

If the connection was successful, you will see a message saying Panel 1 Online

Step 19 : Click “Get” to download all data from the intercom to your PC

Step 20 : If prompted, select “Update Current Job by reading from panels defined in current job”

Step 21 : Click “Residents” to view all intercom entries

Step 22 : Double click any resident to Edit, make desired changes to the displayed name or phone # then click OK

Step 23 : Click “Send” to save changes to the Intercom panel.  You can make as many changes as you want before Sending (ie, you don’t need to click Send after each edit)

Step 24 : Click “Disconnect” when done, or just close the Mircom TX3 program.

The next time you want to start the program, look on your desktop for the TX3 Configurator icon, or check in the Windows Start Menu.
